Department of Oncology

The department of Oncology was established with a motive of providing comprehensive oncology services based on standard international protocols. Department provides advanced surgical and medical oncology services in a multi speciality setting which makes it very unique. This gives us the capability of handling high risk cancer patients ( elderly , pregnant , cardiac patients etc) with high successes rates.
The surgical arm is successfully performing all types of cancer surgeries including minimal accesses surgeries and day care procedures with minimal complication rates. The medical arm is providing chemotherapy for solid tumours and hematologic malignancies. Day care chemotherapy facility is also available.
The department in coordination with anaesthesia department provides pain and palliative care services for advanced cancer patients. All diagnostic services like CT scan, Guided biopsies, bronchoscopy are also available.
Advanced state of the art intervention radiology services like chemoembolization, ablation and stenting are provided under one roof.
