Neurology unit is headed by an experienced Neuro Physician Dr. Sarat Chandra Kumar Nallabothu (Neurologist) M.D.(Gen.), D.M.(Neurology)(NIMS,Hyd), was an Ex-Professor and HOD . He is practicing successfully for the last 15 years in and Guntur regions. He is one of the top most leading practitioners. Patients suffering from Cerebro Vascular Diseases, Epilepsy, Demyelinating Diseases, CNS infection, Migraine, Resistant Headache as well as a number of patients of strokes with varied presentation are being treated here regularly on OPD/IPD & critical care unit.
Round the clock Imaging facility, Neuro-Lab, Colour Doppler, Transcranial Doppler Study and Prompt Lab services. Neurological rehabilitation unit provides essential care for patients while they recover from neurological illness, cerebrovascular events (stroke, embolism, aneurysm), trauma, invasive procedures and surgery. Our facilities include systems for weight suspension, brain exercises, gait evaluation, physiotherapy, cognitive and communication training.
The Department of Neurology conducts basic and clinical research on the nervous system and provides clinical care for people with neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders like Parkinson’s and Huntington’s diseases, tremor, dystonia, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular conditions, headache and sleep disorders.
Neuro-Surgery department is leading by Dr. Sarat Chandra Kumar Nallabothu (Neurologist) M.D.(Gen.), D.M.(Neurology)(NIMS,Hyd), was an Ex-Professor and HOD of Neuro Surgery . He is having massive & good experience of 15 years in performing the major surgeries like Craniotomy, Discectomy & Laminectomy, Spinal Fixation, Burhole, other Emergency trauma surgeries. He is having the team support for major & critical surgeries.
The Hospital has one of the best planned set up for Trauma care – especially Neuro surgery. A fully equipped and well manned causality receives the patient, the ever present Intensivists do the initial resuscitation, accompany the patient to the relevant investigations which has next door to the Hospital and the hospital has a fully functional and equipped Neuro Surgical theatre followed by a state of art ICU for postoperative care and recuperation. The Neurosurgeon is ably supported by two on call Neuro surgery consultants who are readily available at request, any time of the day.

This department is also having the good support from well qualified & trained Neuro surgeons along with the required equipment.
